Encyclopedia of Mathematics / 数学百科
Wolfram Mathworld: a comprehensive and interactive mathematics encyclopedia.
Based on Mathematica, this search engine allows you to enter a query and returns an answer from structured data.
A very powerful and flexible searching tool. Search Current Mathematical Publications and Mathematical Reviews through this Web form interface. Cornell domains will be detected and logged on automatically. Others may log on using a valid user name and password. Site also mirrored in Bielefeld, Germany and in Houston, Texas.
Project Euclid: “User-centered initiative to create an environment for the effective and affordable distribution of serial literature in mathematics and statistics.”
The basic idea was to convert the back issues of paper journals into electronic formats that would allow savings in space while simultaneously improving access to the journal content. The collection includes the complete back files of 16 mathematics journals and 20 statistics journals. It also includes a number of general science journals that have mathematical and statistical articles.
AMS Digital Mathematics Registry
Jahrbuch-Project Electronic Research Archive for Mathematics
A resource for searching mathematics literature from from 1868 to 1943.
Digital Mathematics Library: List of Retrodigitized Mathematics Journals and Monographs
Cornell University Math Collection
The Cornell University Math Collection consists of 577 books that were scanned from originals held by the Cornell University Library. All books were disbound and all pages were scanned. The book can be viewed via the Web and facsimile paper reproductions are available for sale.
University of Michigan Historical Mathematics Collection
The University of Michigan Historical Mathematics Collection is a growing library of books selected from the University of Michigan mathematics collection that have been digitized to improve access and to preserve the content of these books. All of the books in this collection were published in the 19th or early 20th century.
The Electronic Library of Mathematics
The Electronic Library of Mathematics contains online journals, article collections, and monographs in the field of mathematics. All material is in electronic form and access is free. The Electronic Library of Mathematics is supervised by the Electronic Publishing Committee of the European Mathematical Society (EPC-EMS).
Numérisation de documents anciens mathématiques (NUMDAM)
Funded by the CNRS this is an ambitious project to digitize French mathematical journals. Four titles are now available for their first issue to a moving window back five years from the current year: Annales de l’institut Fourier, Journées equations aux dérivées partielles, Publications mathématiques de l’IHES, and Bulletin de la SMF. Other titles will appear before the end of 2003.
Russian Digital Mathematics Library (RusDML)
RusDML (Russian Digital Mathematics Library) is part of a global effort to make all mathematical literature digitally available to mathematicians around the world. The focus of the RusDML project. as its names suggests. is Russian-language literature. The first stage of this project is to digitalize the most important Russian-language journals from 1866 to the present.
